ICPA Hexidine Anti-fungal Mouthwash

ICPA Hexidine Anti-fungal Mouthwash contains 0.2% w/v chlorhexidine gluconate, known for its potent antiseptic, antiplaque, antiviral, and antifungal properties. It works by binding to negatively charged bacterial cell walls, disrupting their integrity, and ultimately causing cell death. This cationic mouthwash adheres to oral surfaces, providing up to 12 hours of antimicrobial action. Ideal for preventing and treating gingivitis, oral candidiasis, denture stomatitis, and secondary bacterial infections in aphthous ulcers, it is also useful as a pre-procedural rinse and for patients unable to brush post-surgery. Recommended use is twice daily, swishing 10 ml for 30 seconds. Prolonged use may cause temporary tooth staining, removable by professional cleaning. Available in 80 ml, 160 ml, and 500 ml bottles, Hexidine offers a reliable solution for maintaining oral hygiene and reducing microbial load in the mouth.
