Luting of restorative pieces:
- Apply the material with a suitable instrument (spatula, brush) onto the preparation and/or into the restorative piece.
- Then place the piece in situ and let it set under slight pressure.
- Meron Plus has a working time of approx. 2 – 4 min at room temperature and sets in the mouth in 3 – 5 min.
- Higher temperatures shorten the working time, lower temperatures prolong it.After approx. 4 minutes the material reaches a gel-like consistency so that excess can easily be removed with a probe.
Luting of posts:
- Apply Meron Plusonly to the post and then seat the post in the root canal.
- Make the post vibrate slightly while seating it to avoid enclosing air bubbles.
- Do not apply the cement into the canal with a lentulo since this could speed up the setting excessively.
