Description

Hydraulic Temporary Restorative is a specialized dental material exclusively intended for temporary filling applications and is designed for use solely by trained dental professionals. The material is then carefully transferred to the cavity using an appropriate instrument, allowing the dental professional to shape and contour it to seamlessly blend with the natural tooth structure. In the case of occlusal Class I cavities, the patient is advised to bite down on the material, facilitating proper adaptation and contouring. Over a period of approximately 30 minutes, the hydraulic temporary restorative material hardens by absorbing moisture, resulting in a stable and durable temporary filling. When removing the filling, the dental professional should clean the cavity using an alcohol-soaked cotton pellet, thoroughly eliminating any residue or remnants of the temporary material.
