GDC Adjustable Dentulous Non-Perforated (ITRLDNPA)
Dental Impression tray Dentulous Non-Perforated is used to take a negative imprint of hard (teeth) and soft tissues in the mouth from which a positive reproduction (cast or model) can be formed. Impression material is of liquid or semi-solid nature when first mixed and placed in the mouth. It then sets to become an elastic solid (usually takes a few minutes depending upon the material), leaving an imprint of a person’s dentition and surrounding structures of the oral cavity.

- Confirm that the tray is cleaned before use.
- Soak the tray in hot water (within the range of 70-80oC) for 10 to 20 seconds.
- Take out the tray, and adjust the size and the angle with your hands according to the oral and dental status of the patient.
- When the patient has some deformed teeth, the size of individual portions shall be adjusted especially.
- Put the adjustable tray into the mouth of the patient and confirm whether he/she is comfortable with it or not.
- If the patient is not comfortable, please repeat step 2 & 3 and adjust it accordingly till the patient feel the tray is comfortable in his/her mouth.
- Inject impression materials or silicon rubber into the final adjustable tray, put the tray into the mouth of the patient, and then get the impression.
