Description
GDC Basic Bone Plating Instruments
GDC Basic Bone Plating Instruments pliers are used mainly in oral and maxillofacial trauma where fractures to facial bones need to be reduced and plated for treatment. They are also used in orthognathic surgeries for correction of malocclusion by manipulation of bone structure which usually requires fixation using bone plates. The pliers are 6 inches in length with a perfect finish. They are made of strong stainless steel which is long-lasting and water-resistant. It is easy to use and can be cleaned using chemical sterilization or by autoclave.
Modelling Lever (ML) – Modelling lever is used in bone plating procedures of oral and maxillofacial regions in case of fracture treatment, distraction osteogenesis, sagittal split osteotomy, etc. It helps in contouring of the bone plates according to the bone topography before applying on the bone.
It is made of durable and rust-free stainless steel for long-term use. Autoclave after use.
