GDC Tunnelling Knives have spoon-shaped working ends. The whole working end features an angle that facilitates the preparation in convex areas. The tunneling instruments reduce the risk of perforation in case of a buccal split-flap development. Furthermore, the usage of the tunneling instruments ensures improved wound healing which in turn can lead to an improved esthetic result.

- The shank of the TKN1 has a smaller angle so it is suitable for tunneling work in less complex areas.
GDC Tunnelling Knive 2 – 6 (TKN2)
- The small radius shank of the TKN2 allows incision in convex areas with relatively large undercuts.
