ICPA Hexigel Antiseptic Mouth Gel is a potent oral care solution designed to address a range of oral health issues. Formulated with Chlorhexidine gluconate 1.0% w/w, this gel offers robust antimicrobial protection, acting against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as exhibiting antiviral and antifungal properties. Its mode of action involves increasing the permeability of microbial cell membranes, leading to cell lysis and effective microbial elimination, which is crucial for early wound healing. Ideal for managing periodontal diseases, oral candidiasis, aphthous ulcers, and common oral injuries, Hexigel also helps maintain oral hygiene, particularly in patients with specific conditions like cancer or periodontitis. For optimal use, brush your teeth with the gel once or twice daily, or apply it directly to affected areas for ulcer management. Note that prolonged use may cause brown staining, which can be easily removed by brushing or polishing.
