Woodpecker DTE Dpex V Apex Locator is a highly efficient apex locator that aids the dentist in accurately determining the working length to carry out endodontic treatment. The electronic principle is relatively simple and is based on electrical resistance; when a circuit is complete (tissue is contacted by the tip of the file), resistance decreases markedly and current suddenly begins to flow .

Function and operation of product Button definition and settings :-
- Turn power on Press Main button to turn on motor handpiece.
- Turn power off Hold down the Setting button “P”, then press Main button to turn off motor handpiece.
- Customized program change Press Adjusting button “+”/“-” during standby sate.
- Parameter setting Press Setting button “P” till target parameters, press Adjusting button “+”/“-” to change, then press Main button or wait 5 seconds to confirm.
- Preset program selection Long press Setting button “P” to entry preset program during standby state, press Adjusting button “+”/“-” to select file system , press Setting button “P” to entry select file number, press Adjusting button “+”/“-” to select file number, then press Main button to confirm.
Woodpecker DTE Dpex V Apex Locator :-
- When the file reaches the front region of the apical foramen, the white bars are displayed.
- When the file has gone to the position near by the apical foramen, the green bars are displayed.
- When the file has exceeded the apical foramen, the red bars are displayed. A continuous beep sound will be generated at the same time.

- Manufacturer/Importer warranty of 1 year as applicable for this Woodpecker DTE Dpex V Apex Locator, 5 year warranty on PCB (Power Circuit Board)
- The Base, handpiece, power adapter of Woodpecker DTE Endo Smart Plus have two years of warranty period from the date of purchase. The contra angle has one year warranty period. Other spare parts have six months warranty period.
- Dentalstall will not be liable to replace the Products and the liability to replace any such Product is that of the Manufacturer/Importer
- Dentalstall and the Buyer acknowledge that the Products purchased/used are a subject matter of original Manufacturer/Importer’s warranties only
- Any or all claims in relation to returns and replacement shall be made to the concerned Manufacturer/Importer only and Dentalstall may assist the customer in registering a request to get the Product replaced or serviced.
- The Buyer acknowledges that the Products once sold will not be exchanged or taken back unless the seal of the package or the Product is intact or not altered in any manner or is not tampered as the case may be.
