Description
Woodpecker KP Root is a non-resin cement that, in addition to its improved biocompatibility properties, also provides an easy pulp chamber cleaning after endodontic obturation.
KP Root Sealer is a ready-to-use bioceramic cement for root canal filling.
The bioceramic composition allows the release of calcium ions, which stimulates the formation of mineralized tissue.
Calcium hydroxide is used for stimulating the healing process. The action of calcium hydroxide is achieved through the ionic dissociation of Ca(2+) and OH(-) ions and their effect on vital tissues, the induction of hard-tissue deposition, and the antibacterial properties.
Indications :-
- Permanent root canal filling in combination with gutta-percha points in vital or necrotic pulp cases or after a retreatment procedure.
- KP RCS is suitable for use in single cone technique or cold lateral condensation.
ADVANTAGES :
- Moisture in the dentinal tubules and Calcium Silicate’s chemical reaction produce crystallization of Calcium Hydroxide.
- KP Root Canal Sealer is perfectly and fully hermetic in the root canal
- It prevents the propagation of bacteria.
- Antibacterial and bacteriostatic due to its high alkalinity
